Linked Internal Space I

Here is some my official documentation from the two sites for Art in Public Places.  You can see more on my installation page.

When photographing work, it’s a good time to evaluate what I’ve done and to think through the content of the work.  Some say that artwork isn’t complete until ‘the viewer’ looks at it…

When I took the photos of the Transit Gallery (the billboards) at the Substation, it was a broody sky and about to rain, and it was sunset – a beautiful time of day.  I needed to be quick to get the shots before it started raining.  The whether brought out all the colour in the environment surrounding the work, the colours of sky and the shade of the bricks of the building.

I was lucky enough to be included the the Substation’s April exhibition opening.  Was a great opportunity to see the work lit up at night too.  Thanks to those that came out on a rainy evening to check out the work and support me.
